ACSO Clears 19 Cases with Arrest of Burglar


Aiken County authorities have been able to pin 19 outstanding cases of burglary and grand larceny on a Warrenville man whose been in custody since March 9.

On March 9, sheriff’s deputies arrested a Warrenville man for the home invasion of 115 Easy Street Beech Island, S.C. which led to clearing 19 outstanding ACSO burglary and grand larceny cases, according to Sgt. Dave Myers.

Justin Lee Turner, 2o, of Banion Ct., Warrenville, is charged with Burglary 2nd,(12 Counts), Grand Larceny, (7 Counts), Pointing and Presenting a Firearm at a person, (2 Counts), Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of a Violent Crime, Possession of a Stolen Pistol, and Kidnapping.

On March 9, Aiken County Deputies responded to 115 Easy Street Beech Island, S.C. regarding a house invasion in progress. The victim told ACSO Deputies that a white male subject had gained entry to her residence, pointed a firearm at him then fled the incident location. Deputies received information from the victim as to where the subject was heading once leaving the incident location.

Sheriff Michael Hunt along with ACSO Deputies, based on information received from the victim, were able to quickly set up a perimeter in and around the area of the last know sighting of the subject. Due to the quick response to the incident, Sheriff Michael Hunt along with ACSO Deputies was able to capture the subject responsible for the home invasion.

As a result of the capture of Mr. Turner, 12 outstanding ACSO burglaries, and 7 outstanding ACSO Grand Larceny cases were cleared.

Sheriff Michael Hunt stated, “Cooperation from the victim, our Deputies ability to make a quick response, and set up a perimeter in and around the area of the subject, were keys to his capture. ACSO Investigations rapid follow up to the incident played a big role in clearing 12 outstanding ACSO Burglaries, and 7 outstanding ACSO Grand Larceny’s.”

Justin Lee Turner is now being held in the Aiken County Detention Center.

  3. yeah something not right with this sounds like some cases are just being put on this one. how did the victim know where he was headed and all them cases surely they had to be more wittnesses.
