In the Jail's Medical Ward?

The Aiken County Jail looked more like a hospital this week when you look at a few of the mugshots.

Scott Leistner, 46, of Aiken (top), came in with a shiny black eye on Tuesday night. His alleged offense might explain the bruiser. He was charged with assault & battery - common law.

Julianne Scoggins, 65, of Graniteville (bottom), looks like she was in a wreck with the neck brace. Her charges, however, don't reflect traffic charges. She was also jailed on Tuesday night with three counts of fraudulent checks.

Both have already been released from the jail, allowing them to nurse their wounds at home.
