An Augusta man went crazy on his estranged wife just a few days after they separated, according to a sheriff's report.
Earl Eubanks, 40, is accused of kicking in the door to his wife's 13th Street apartment on Wednesday, grabbing a kitchen knife, and threatening to kill everyone in the house. When the victim locked herself in the master bathroom, Mr. Eubanks broke the door to get to her, but he did not hurt her, a report states.
Authorities filed simple assault charges against Mr. Eubanks for the incident. A report states the couple had been married eight years and just separated less than a week ago.
