The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office arrested an Aiken teen Tuesday night in connection with the burglaries and vandalism that occurred at Oakwood-Windsor Elementary school in Aiken over the last two months.
Joshua Luke Moore, 17, of Matties Country Court, Aiken, was charged with two counts of burglary in the second degree.
The vandalism occurred over an eight-week period covering the first of June through the end of July. Aiken County Sheriff’s Office investigators learned through witnesses, and the schools surveillance recordings, the identity of the subject involved in the burglaries and vandalism. Mr. Moore is now being held in the Aiken County Detention Center.
