Ryan Heath Mock, 23, of Augusta, was charged today with striking five people with his truck at a party.
Authorities say he was at a house Friday night on Windsor Spring Road in Hephzibah and got into a fight. After he was told to leave, the suspect allegedly got into his truck struck a woman while backing up. According to the victim, she was on the ground when Mr. Mock put his truck in drive and rode over her legs. Authorities say he then drove into a crowd and hit four other people.
Three people were treated at the Medical College of Georgia Hospital while two others declined treatment for minor injuries. Mr. Mock was charged with aggravated assault and remained in the Richmond County Detention Center.
