The Jail Report has been searching for answers on this mugshot all week.
This is James Martin Robinson, a 49-year-old homeless man arrested Aug. 7 on the 400 block of Broad Street in Augusta. Today, we got a copy of the citation issued to him for disorderly conduct. The citation says that Mr. Robinson was "intoxicated, breaking beer bottles, using profanity" at 2:45 in the afternoon.
We're not sure if he broke one of the bottles on his own face. But apparently he was intoxicated enough that a jail employee had to hold him steady during his mugshot (above), so there's no telling how he might have been injured.
It's definitely one of the more interesting mugshots we've seen. In the meantime, here's the citation (right). Click on it, and read it yourself.
I had to call the cops on this guy last week because he was standing outside our front door, wetting his pants and the sidewalk, and screaming at random people. He was freaking us all out.
