UPDATE: Suspect Charged in Warrenville Slaying

The Jail Report has confirmed that an arrest has been made in the slaying of a Warrenville man.
Aiken County authorities arrested 32-year-old Pete Williams of Graniteville on Friday night on a murder charge in connection with the death of 68-year-old John Barrs.
Mr. Barr's body was found at approximately 8:30 a.m. Friday, and an autopsy revealed that he died from a severe head injury due to blunt force trauma caused by an unknown weapon.
Mr. Williams is a repeat offender who's been in the Aiken County Jail several times on charges that include hit & run, DUI, failure to pay child support, financial identity fraud, forgery, receiving stolen goods and child endangerment.
