Sleeping in the Wrong Place

If Jessie Beard looks a little tired in his mugshot, it's because a deputy had to wake Jessie up to tell him he was under arrest.

According to a report, a relative of the suspect's called deputies at 1 a.m. Saturday to say she was having trouble with Mr. Beard being at her home on Nighthawk Drive in Augusta. A deputy arrived and found the 47-year-old Augusta man sleeping on the back patio.

The report states Mr. Beard was in violation of a temporary protection order signed just three days before. In fact, he had the order on his possession.

Poor guy. Seems like he just wanted to catch some zzzzzz's.
