The Grinches That Tried to Steal Christmas (Allegedly)

You know those people that police warn you about every Christmas? The thieves who will break into your car and steal your gifts unless you lock your stuff in the trunk or cover them with something?

Well, Richmond County authorities busted three of those guys this week, just as Christmas approached.

Daniel Denny, 17 (top), Scott Tavarez, 21 (middle), and Gregory Bentley, 21 (bottom), were each charged Wednesday with five counts of entering a vehicle to commit theft. They were arrested and booked into the Richmond County Jail.

We don't know what they were going after, but it certainly would have ruined someone's holiday if they had taken it. Perhaps the judicial system can show them the error of their ways (and, like the fictional Grinch, make their hearts grow three sizes.)

  4. I think we should be more concerned with the fact that people in our society feel forced to resort to means such as these to make it in life.

  6. No idea about their hearts, PLEASE they are heartless for the acts they tried to commit, good thing they were ALL caught. If it were your home they tried to break into would you say then that we have no idea about their hearts? GET A FREAKING LIFE, sounds like you're on the wrong side of the fence and you uphold criminals. I will pray for you as you have no control over your ignorance. Have a great day!!

  8. Daniel has a good heart and just got in the wrong mix of things. I am sure he learned his lesson and will become a successful, upstanding citizen in the end. I am sure everyone has some sort of mistake in their past that they are ashamed of and now Daniel has his.. Lucky enough he realizes the wrong in his actions and is working to correct them and is still pushing forward in his life.

  11. I was at Daniel Denny's house the other day hanging with him and his family. To me it seems he is trying to get back on track and very sorry about what he's done. He'sactually trying to do something with his life, yeah it was stupid for them to do that...but I don't see anybody helping them.
Give him(THEM ALL) a second chance, and don't judge from just one mistake.
