The Augusta Chronicle reported Wednesday on a suspect who shot himself following a home invasion in Augusta.
We've got the mugshot of Gustave Taylor, 18, of Augusta (top). It's clear the teen's in pain. He was photographed in a hospital gown with two monitors visible through the garment and the side view showing him seated in a wheelchair.
According to The Chronicle, Gustave and 18-year-old Marqueis Demarcus Hall of Augusta (bottom photo) robbed some residents on Leeway Landing on Tuesday night. Later, Gustave shot himself in the thigh while trying to put the weapon back into his waistband. When he called for help and reported being shot by someone else, deputies located the stolen items from the home invasion and arrested Gustave.
The teens are each charged with armed robbery and burglary.
