Daughter of Singer James Brown Arrested

Venisha Brown (above), the 44-year-old daughter of the late soul singer James Brown, was charged last week in Columbia County on an outstanding warrant for theft by conversion.

The victim, Lance Robertson of Martinez, reported his 1994 Nissan Sentra stolen in August. He said he left the keys in the vehicle’s ignition while it was parked underneath an awning in his fenced yard.

This isn't the first time Venisha's been arrested. The Jail Report featured her over the summer when she was charged with a possession of a stolen vehicle in Aiken County.
