Richmond County Deputy Charged

Sheriff Ronnie Strength held a 2 p.m. press conference to discuss last night's arrest of Deputy Victor Goad (above) on charges of theft by extortion and violation of oath of office.

Deputy Goad is accused of extorting $200 from a man who the officer found with an illegal gun in return for not arresting him.
