A 27-year-old Augusta man has been accused of having sex with a 15-year-old girl over the summer.
Corey Gonder, 27 (above), was arrested Friday on a felony charge of statutory rape. A sheriff's report states that the sexual encounter occurred on July 27 at the suspects home on the 3000 block of Griggs Court.
The alleged crime was reported at the MCG Psychiatric Clinic, the report states. A subsequent investigation led to Friday's arrest.
