On Wednesday, sheriff's narcotics and crime investigators wrapped up a lengthy investigation into a house used to both sell illegal narcotics and to take in stolen property for the trade of illegal narcotics.
Narcotics investigators obtained a search warrant for a residence on Jeffcoat Road in Wagener. The agency's SWAT team served the search warrant. Discovered in the search of the residence were 12 firearms that were located throughout the home, including two assault rifles. Also found inside was stolen property that had been taken on burglaries around the county and traded to these subjects for illegal narcotics.
Narcotics investigators located several baggies of marijuana and illegal controlled pills packaged for sell inside the residence. Four juveniles between the ages of 6-15 were also located in the same room of the illegal narcotics and firearms during the time of the search warrant.
The three suspects are being held at the Aiken County Detention Center.
